Dadia National Park, Greece

The National Park of Dadia – Lefkimi – Soufli Forest is located in Southeastern Greece in Rodopi mountains. Thanks to its location at the point where the European and Asian continents meet, the park is home to numerous species which can be found on both continents and in the Balkan Peninsula as well. Located along a major route for birds, the forest is also known to be inhabited by rare bird species, including three of the four European species of vultures.
